Our project on Intergenerational Solidarity has been successfully completed, and we are pleased to present its key results!
Demographic changes in our societies—such as population ageing, imbalances in population structures, and shifting human needs—have become a major topic in public discourse, sparking a wide range of discussions, some of them controversial.
At the same time, within the field of community-led and cooperative housing, a variety of social experiments are emerging and evolving, many of which prove to be highly successful in everyday practice. However, many of these innovative and effective solutions remain largely unknown to the wider public and therefore play only a minor role in public debates.
The aim of our project, implemented from October 2024 to December 2025 by the organisations INWOLE (Potsdam, Germany), Pervolarides (Thessaloniki, Greece), and Ethos (Odense, Denmark), was to explore precisely these kinds of innovative approaches to intergenerational solidarity.
